Watchable Wildlife for Youth and Families

Archived

Bureau of Land Management

Description

Wildlife viewing has become the second most popular outdoor activity in the United States. The BLM develops and maintains wildlife viewing areas; and provides wildlife based educational and outreach opportunities across the National System of Public Lands. These efforts are a key part of a Secretarial priority to connect the American public, and especially children and families, with their public lands. Additionally, enhanced opportunities and education will increase support for wildlife resource conservation and help protect wildlife habitat.
