Description

The Heartland Inventory and Monitoring Network (HTLN) needs assistance and expertise to ensure that the results of monitoring are relevant and accessible to park managers and the public. The partner is expected to undertake a diversity of tasks generally related to: 1. Assisting network scientist in translating scientific findings into concise, understandable, integrated information products for park managers and the public; 2. Developing education and interpretation programs that incorporate a spectrum of network-generated information in the context of each park�s specific resources and purpose to engage park managers and the public; 3. Using HTLN findings to develop curriculum for local educators to use in the classroom and on-site to improve overall scientific literacy and the role of science in managing National Parks.
