Description

Funding is available through the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS) California Landscape Conservation Cooperative (CA LCC) to complete work as identified in the CA LCC 2011 program priorities. Specifically, the University of California, Los Angeles, will integrate existing data on intraspecific variation of multiple species in the Santa Monica Mountains National Recreational Area with climate data and measurements of the environment to identify areas with high intraspecific variation to help support conservation prioritization. The USFWS intends to award University of California, Los Angeles, a single source agreement because of the unique qualifications of the staff with the technical expertise to conduct this analysis. The anticipated project start date will be August 2011 with an expected completion date of December 2012.
