Description
The Bureau of Reclamation, Mid-Pacific Region, intends to issue a Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) for a Cooperative Agreement pursuant to the authority of Public Lands Corps Act of 1993, 16 U.S.C 1721-1730 and Youth Conservation Corps Act of 1970, 16 U.S.C 1701-07. The principal feature of the work is to create defensible space on Reclamation lands. This includes task such as prune and chip tree limbs, cut down and chip trees, mow non-woody vegetation, and remove and dispose of flammable ground debris. Period of Performance is from the date of issuance of the Agreement to September 30, 2014. R11AF20021 will be posted on the GRANTS.GOV web site, at www.grants.gov, on or about July 29th 2011. The estimated date for receipt of proposals is on August 12, 2011. The FOA must be downloaded at the above web site. No paper copy of this announcement will be distributed. Central Contractor Registration (CCR) applies to this FOA. Prospective recipients must be registered prior to award. Lack of registration in the CCR database will make an offeror ineligible for award. Information on CCR registration can be obtained via the Internet at http://www.ccr.gov.
