Description
The primary purpose of this proposed Cooperative Agreement (�Agreement�) is to provide services to perform a preliminary engineering evaluation and, at the option of the Navy, dredge 8,125 cubic yards of material from Coves 2 and 3 and deposit spoils on the adjacent beach as a restoration project. Specifically, the project entails maintenance dredging of 8,125 cubic yards of material from Coves 2 and 3 on NRC Solomons Island, construction of an off-shore breakwater to protect 800 linear feet of 20 ft. high cliffs, and creation of a living shoreline, including critical area buffer and tidal wetland plantings
