Description
A NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD is issued by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service to Talon Scientific according to 505 DM 2.14 B (1) and (4) (see attached NOI). NO COMPETITION IS EXPECTED. PLEASE DO NOT APPLY. This agreement is being implemented to provide financial assistance in helping inform management of Flammulated Owls by using geolocators to discover regions in Mexico where they overwinter. The Flammulated Owl is a U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (2002) national Bird of Conservation Concern. Data gained from this project will help determine management responsibility and support effective tri-national conservation planning efforts for this important species.
