Description
The Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) requests applications for outreach and related activities that will improve Ohio NRCS program delivery to underserved individuals, groups, and communities. Underserved groups include socially disadvantaged, limited resource and new and beginning farmers. Ohio NRCS will work with the successful applicant to provide outreach related opportunities, activities and projects that will improve program delivery and technical assistance to the underserved population. The grant under the Ohio Outreach competition will not exceed $90,000 from NRCS. This notice identifies the objectives for Outreach projects, the eligibility criteria for projects, and associated instructions needed to apply for the Outreach Grant.
