Interface between Computer Science and Economics & Social Sciences

Description
The three divisions of CISE and the SES division of SBE seek interdisciplinary research and education projects that develop new knowledge at the Interface between Computer Science and Economics & Social Sciences. Projects should advance knowledge on both sides of the interface. Projects that use known techniques and results from Computer Science or Economics & Social Sciences to advance only one field (either CS or Econ/SS) are not of interest to the program. Proposers are invited to submit proposals in two project classes, which are defined as follows:Small Projects - up to $400,000 total budget with durations up to three years; andLarge Projects - $400,001 to $1,000,000 total budget with durations up to four years.A more complete description of the two project classes can be found in section II.
