FY11 Replacement Grant for Title X Family Planning Services in Parts of New Hampshire

Description
The Office of Population Affairs, Office of Family Planning will be awarding a non-competitive, urgent replacement grant to the Planned Parenthood of Northern New England (PPNNE) in New Hampshire to provide Title X family planning services in the following areas of the state: West Lebanon, Claremont, Keene, Derry, Exeter, and Manchester. Those areas, constituting more than half of the state, have been without access to Title X family planning services since July 1, 2011, after the New Hampshire Executive Council voted not to renew the New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services? contract with PPNNE. The replacement grant is intended to minimize the interruption of needed clinical services and to protect the public health in New Hampshire.
