Description

The purpose of the program is to estimate the incidence of influenza in the community and the incidence and etiology of non-influenza respiratory viruses. This program addresses the “Healthy People 2020” focus area(s) of prevent disease, disability, and death from infectious diseases, including vaccine-preventable disease and is in alignment with HHS/CDC/NCIRD’s performance goal(s) to protect Americans from infectious diseases
