Description

This project will develop a description of the visitor use along the 16 WSR segments. This description will provide an estimate of the current use and compare its levels with the maximum capacity. The maximum capacity will be developed in relation to the resource protections necessary to maintain the WSR segments values. This project, through these descriptions, will then outline criteria to be used to make decisions in the future. The criteria will also be used to evaluate visitor use in relation to maximum capacity. Once maximum capacity is reached, a system to regulate use in order to protect resource values would be implemented by BLM.
