ArchivedCenters for Disease Control and Prevention
Description
The purpose of this program is to strengthen the capacity of the Government of the Republic of Zambia (GRZ) in the area of statistical analysis by establishing an agreement with the Zambia Central Statistical Office so that it may be able to provide statistical support to other Government institutions implementing HIV/AIDS programs. The program further aims at providing support to the implementation of all HIV/AIDS surveys such as the AIDS Indicator Survey, the Demographic and Health Survey and other HIV/AIDS that the Government of Zambia would like to implement in order to assess its national HIV/AIDS response. It also aims to support the alignment and integration of information systems and establishment of a national data repository from which quality data may be used for decision-making.
