Description

USAID/India’s proposed HIV/AIDS Partnership: Impact through Prevention, Private Sector and Evidence-based Programming (PIPPSE) will play a critical role in strengthening host country human and institutional technical capacity in support of the National AIDS Control Program-III/IV (NACP-III/IV), thus helping to develop a sustainable response to the HIV epidemic at national, state, and district levels. Specifically, the project will support national prevention efforts in stabilizing or reversing the epidemic through developing innovative models in strengthening systems, institutions and human capacity at national and state levels to deliver high quality prevention services. Secondly, the project will assist the Government of India (GOI) to scale up innovations and develop approaches to foster replication of effective interventions in countries with similar epidemics.
