Description

We propose a detailed survey of the occurrence of Biological Soil Crusts on undisturbed and disturbed BLM lands as well as grazed and ungrazed sites. This will provide information relevant to land and ecosystem management as well as a baseline of information from which to monitor change over time to stressors such as climate change.
