Description

The purpose of the proposed cooperative agreement is to support PCA in its Technology Transfer of Best Practices for Concrete and Concrete Bridges which consists of publishing the bi-monthly newsletter Concrete Bridge Views. The FHWA Office of Bridge Technology has an ongoing concrete bridge technology program to develop and transfer new technologies related to improved concrete bridge performance. New efforts are needed to reach a broader audience including all of FHWA’s customers and partners in a timely and cost-effective manner. This effort needs to be focused not only on State DOTs and the bridge industry but also on engineers, concrete and materials suppliers, research organizations, and academia. This is a sole source requirement.
