The US Geological Survey Alaska Science Center is offering a funding opportunity to a CESU partner for research to develop exactly dated chronologies from the otoliths of lake trout (Salvelinus namaycush), a long-lived and non-migratory fish species, as indicators of lake productivity and compare these chronologies with existing dedrochronologies.
