Description

The purpose of this 5-year Program is to improve the ability of State vital statistics agencies to operate cost efficiently and to provide timely and high quality data to the National Vital Statistics System (NVSS) based on the 2003 U.S. Standard Certificates of Birth and Death and the Report of Fetal Death. This program addresses the “Healthy People 2020” focus area(s) of Public Health Infrastructure.
