Description

The Mid-Pacific Region of the Bureau of Reclamation (Reclamation) intends to issue a Notice of Intent to Award Modification 003 to Cooperative Agreement R10AC20114 (CFDA # 15.517) to Klamath Water and Power Agency (KWAPA) for the following program: On-Project Plan (OPP) Development. The plan will address issues facing the Project such as reliability and sustainability of water supplies. The plan will also identify tools, actions, and potential mitigation measures for consideration by Project and Klamath Basin Restoration Agreement (KBRA) identified management entities and stakeholders. Klamath Basin Area Office (KBAO) staff are seeking the execution of a grant modification to the original to fund the obligations of Reclamation under its’ KBRA, Section 15 requirements to assist KWAPA. The existing grant, R10AC20114, will only undertake development of the OPP and elements identified in the final OPP for implementation. Refer to Notice of Intent (NOI) to award announcement, R12AS20021 for additional information. A Determination by the Government not to compete this proposed financial assistance based upon Departmental Manual 505 DM 2, paragraph 2.14(B)(4) is solely within the discretion of the Government. This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals. Central Contractor Registration (CCR) applies to this announcement.
