Bureau of Land Management

Description

Conduct population viability analysis on Erysimum menziesii ssp. eurekense to better understand how to prioritize and manage restoration, planning, impacts and recovery actions. Use this information to better inform management of the species across land ownerships and to assist the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service with status review of an endangered species. Conduct field assessment of current populations of Erysimum on Samoa peninsula, to become familiar with the species, the disease system, impacts to populations and response to management.
