Description

LOID’s goal is to provide each point of delivery within their district boundaries with an irrigation meter. Since 2005, LOID has installed over 2,000 meters at irrigation deliveries to help manage water usage. It is Reclamation’s intent to award financial assistance in 2012 to LOID to continue with their water metering project. It is estimated this project will produce a water savings of about 48-50 acre-feet per year.
