ORIGINAL SYNOPSIS : USAID/India’s ‘wPOWER’ has a broad objective of empowering women to engage in economic growth opportunities related to clean energy. The program will take a holistic approach to integrate women across the small-scale clean technology supply chain and would lead to an innovative, replicable, scalable and sustainable public-private partnership model created to build and strengthen networks of women clean energy entrepreneurs and promote sustainable energy access in rural off-grid areas. The vision is to empower women as entrepreneurs to improve clean energy access.
