Description
The purpose of the program is to continue the objectives of FOA IP10-007 to determine the effectiveness of empiric influenza antiviral therapy, in addition to empiric antibiotic therapy, for hospitalized CAP patients, and other patients with lower respiratory tract illness, during the periods when influenza viruses are circulating in the community. This program addresses the “Healthy People 2020” focus area(s) of Immunization and Infectious Diseases.
