Conservation of Priority Wetland and Upland Habitat in the RWBJV

Description
This is a Notice of Intent to award a Cooperative Agreement to Nebraska Community Foundation, for the purpose of developing conservation projects using the Strategic Habitat Conservation Business Model. The tasks to be performed under this agreement are as follows: 1) Communication, 2) Coordination, 3)Biological Planning, 4) Conservation Design, 5) Project Implementation, and 6) Research and monitoring actions to evaluate conservation throughout the RWBJV. This Single Source Award is being made in accordance with Department of the Interior Policy 505 DM 2.14 B (2), which allows for award without competition to an applicant. This new Cooperative Agreement will be a continuation of an existing Cooperative Agreement between the Rainwater Basin Joint Venture and Nebraska Community foundation. This new agreement will allow the Nebraska Community Foundation and Rainwater Basin Joint Venture to complete numerous projects that are currently underway. Developing this new agreement will ensure satisfactory completion of these activities.
