Pakistan Private Investment Initiative PPII
ArchivedPakistan USAID-Islamabad
Description
USAID Pakistan seeks interest in its project which provides for investment fund management companies to co-fund, with USAID, equity or quasi-equity investment in potential high growth small and medium sized businesses (SME’s) in Pakistan. USAID Pakistan intends to enter into multiple agreements with an investment by USAID of 15 to 20 million dollars per investment fund. USAID will require a match of at least dollar for dollar with greater matches viewed favorably. Evidence of investment commitments from prospective partner/investors will be required to satisfy this requirement. The window for investments will be 5 years with investments liquidated after an anticipated 5 year holding period. The compensation of the fund management company for its service would be market based and subject to negotiation. This procurement will be conducted as a multi-tiered assistance procurement with concept papers initially being accepted and full applications sought from the highest evaluated initial applications.
