The FMCSA provides CVISN funds to advance technological capability and promote the deployment of intelligent transportation systems applications for commercial vehicle operations, including commercial vehicle, commercial driver, and carrier-specific information systems and networks. Eligible awardees for CVISN funding are State agencies, including the District of Columbia and U.S. territories that are designated as the lead agency in the State?s CVISN Program Plan and Top-Level Design.
