Collaborative Research in Structural Sciences
ArchivedAir Force -- Research Lab
Description
The focus of this collaborative effort is focused in three thrust areas: 1) adaptive, spatial and temporal, multi-scaling strategies for long-duration path-dependent combined-environment structural simulation; 2) Damage integrated, structural-thermal, reduced order models for realistic structural components; 3) high-fidellity, continuum-level, constitutive and material damage evolution models. Technical point of contact is Ravi Penmetsa, AFRL/RQSS, Program Engineer, (937) 656-8799, ravi.penmetsa@wpafb.af.mil.
