This Program Announcement/Funding Opportunity is being published by the United States Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity (USAMRAA) and is intented to solicit proposals for the WRAIR Medical Tropical Research Laboratory Program (MTRLP) Infectious Disease, Vaccine, Clinical Trials and Entomology Award (IDVCTEA) that supports the basic, pre-clinical and clinical research of infectious diseases within Kenya. This opportunity will focus on research and operational support for the study of militarily relevant infectious diseases of strategic interest to the United States Military. Activities to be supported in this program include basic scientific research, disease surveillance, training and educational programs, entomological studies, and phase 1-3 clinical trials of biologics, drugs and devices intended for the detection and prevention of tropical infectious diseases.
