Description
USAID/Uganda anticipates awarding a new, $50 million, five-year cooperative agreement for an activity titled Communication for Healthy Communities (CHC) program. The goal of this program is to contribute to a reduction in HIV infections, total fertility, maternal and child mortality, malnutrition, malaria and tuberculosis (TB). The main Objective of the program is to increase adoption of healthy behaviors (including uptake of critical health services) through strengthened health communication, in order to contribute to these improved health outcomes.
