Description

The Public Affairs Section (PAS) of the U.S. Embassy in Kabul, Afghanistan invites all eligible organizations to submit a proposal to promote knowledge of and participation in the 2014 Afghan presidential election by university students and other voting-eligible youth throughout Afghanistan – both men and women - through activities that promote improved critical thinking and communications skills. The goal of this project is to increase voting-eligible youth and first-time voter participation in the 2014 presidential election, especially in regions that had low voter turnout in the 2009 presidential election. This grant shall engage university students, both men and women, in ten provinces.
