FY 2013 Funding Opportunity Announcement for NGO programs benefiting refugees in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), Tanzania, and Uganda. Proposals for Uganda's refugee settlements and Nyaragusu refugee camp in western Tanzania may focus on life-saving basic preventative and curative healthcare assistance, including prevention of and response to gender-based violence. Proposals for the Democratic Republic of Congo should focus on Equateur province, specifically on areas of high refugee return. Proposed activities should aim to address water and sanitation, sustainable livelihood promotion, peace-building, or gender-based violence prevention and response that will lead to successful durable reintegration.
