Description
The US Geological Survey is offering a funding opportunity to a CESU partner to conduct research to evaluate and compare predictions of tropical forest responses to increased temperature at a variety of temporal and spatial scales. The goals of this research are: 1) to enhance predictive capability across different tropical forest types of how tropical forest carbon and nutrient cycles will respond to increased temperature; 2) improve communication and understanding across disciplines in order to generate ideas for future research proposals; and 3) inform a large-scale warming experiment in Puerto Rico.
