Description
The Mid-Pacific Region of the Bureau of Reclamation (Reclamation) intends to issue a Notice of Intent for a grant agreement to State of Nevada, Department of Conservation and Natural Resources, Division of Water Resources. The purpose of this agreement is to complete water right mapping in the Newlands Project area. Specifically, the funds will be used to produce water right maps and digital data files, which will be used by multiple stakeholders (Federal Watermaster, Pyramid Lake Paiute Tribe, Fallon Paiute Tribe, US Fish & Wildlife Service, the Truckee-Carson Irrigation District, City of Fernley, City of Fallon, Churchill County, and Lyon County) to improve surface water management. Refer to Notice of Intent (NOI) to award announcement, R13AS20028 for additional information. A Determination by the Government not to compete this proposed financial assistance based upon Departmental Manual 505 DM 2 (4) is solely within the discretion of the Government. This notice of intent (NOI) is NOT a request for competitive proposals. The System of Award Management (SAM) applies to this Notice of Intent.
