In Fiscal Year 2013, the U.S. Department of Labor’s (USDOL) Bureau of International Labor Affairs (ILAB) will award up to $1.5 million for one or more cooperative agreements to fund a technical assistance project(s) to strengthen linkages between labor inspectorates and labor courts within two countries – El Salvador and Honduras. The project will aim to integrate labor case management systems within each country, thus enabling information sharing on complaint intake, investigations, case development, remediation plans, and transfer/follow through to the labor courts. Eligible Applicants may include any commercial, international, non-U.S.-based, educational, or non-profit organization(s), including any faith-based, community-based, or public international organization capable of effectively implementing activities in support of the objectives of this solicitation.
