The Combat Casualty Care Research Program (CCCRP) is focused on leveraging cutting edge research and knowledge to address existing and emerging gaps in combat casualty care. The objective of this Program Announcement/Funding Opportunity is to explore innovative approaches to accelerate the translation of advances in knowledge into new standards of care for the treatment of the injured warfighter who sustains burn injuries. The results of the research funded through FY13 Care for the Critically Injured Burn Patient II (CCIBPII) Program Announcement/Funding Opportunity are expected to increase the body of knowledge available to professionals and practitioners in health, medical science and related fields. To be considered for funding, applications for the FY13 CCIBPII must address one of the Topic Areas listed in this Program Announcement/Funding Opportunity.
