This Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) encourages R21 applications that propose to conduct secondary analyses of alcohol as it relates to chronic disease etiology and epidemiology. The goal of this program is to facilitate cost-effective exploratory or novel studies that break new ground or extend previous discoveries toward new directions or applications.
