Description
The National Wetlands Research Center (NWRC) of the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) is offering a funding opportunity for research that advances the development of remote sensing technologies for mapping extent and condition of submerged aquatic plants (SAV), particularly, seaweeds and seagrasses. Although this research will focus on the DelMarVA lagoon, the expected technology advances will have direct implications to the timeliness, accuracy, and consistency of SAV remote sensing mapping globally.
