They also are encouraged to contact DoD program managers listed at those sites before submitting proposals, in order to explore research areas that are of mutual interest to the proposers and DoD administering agencies. A proposal may be submitted to more than one administering agency; however, only one administering agency will fund the proposal, if selected, under the 2014 DURIP.A central purpose of the DURIP is to provide equipment to enhance research-related education. Therefore, proposals must address the impact of the equipment on the institution’s ability to educate students, through research, in disciplines important to DoD missions.
