THIS IS A REQUEST FOR COMMENTS AND NOTIFICATION OF PRE-APPLICATION CONFERENCE ONLY. The purpose of the Transformational Leadership Program (TLP) is to develop a cadre of skilled professionals. This is to be accomplished through coordinated scholarships, internships and university and other institutional partnerships and through the improved capacity of the Kosovo higher education system. The goal is lasting impact on Kosovo’s socio-economic development. Program priority is development of skills and values relevant to USG assistance objectives of a participatory democracy and a market economy. The project will aim to create a cadre of leaders contributing to country development goals through increased educational opportunities such as scholarships, partnerships and internships in the United States. Scholarship programs to educate future leaders and foster mutual understanding between the people of Kosovo and America continues to be a high priority of the U.S. Government.
