Description

The purpose of the program is to enhance the ability of the nation’s vital statistics system to provide timely and high quality data to the National Vital Statistics System, to expand the number of states that are effectively using electronic systems to collect birth and death data, and to expand/enhance the use of vital statistics data for surveillance purposes.
