Description
The Medford District BLM and the recipient will work together to provide opportunities for youth in natural resources, engineering, physical sciences, administration, GIS, and other related areas. The intent is to work with one or two youth per project, not an entire youth crew. Youth in this program will gain experience in one or more of the following field areas (or related fields as they pertain to work experience in the BLM or SWCD): fisheries management, agriculture, hydrology/water quality, forestry/silviculture, GIS, administration (personnel, procurement, budget, safety, hazmat, warehousing), lands/realty, invasive species, and range.
