AFOSR invites the submission of proposals for a K-12 Aerospace Based Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) Mobile Teaching Vehicle. AFOSR intends to award a 1-year effort of approximately $200,000 to an educational institution or non-profit organization that best demonstrates the capacity to develop a mobile STEM discovery center designed to increase students’ interest and learning in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics through hands-on activities. This is a Broad Agency Announcement. No formal Request for Proposals (RFP) or other solicitation regarding this announcement will be made. Proposers are highly encouraged to confer with the designated points of contact as soon as possible. Their contact information can be found at the end of this section. Proposals will be reviewed on merit, with an eye toward expanding the approach to educating K-12 students on the rewarding benefits of STEM both in and outside the classroom.
