Description
The Bureau of Reclamation (Reclamation) intends to issue a grant agreement to the East Bay Regional Park District, under the authority of catalog for domestic assistance (CFDA) 15.524, Recreation Resource Management. Estimated amount: $80,000.00. Reclamation proposes to fund this project for the continuation of the development of the recreation area at Contra Loma. This project will include the following: • Improve restroom facilities (ADA compliance) and sanitary conditions at the reservoir site. • Upgrade current fish cleaning station so that the public (ADA compliance) can dispose of fish waste in a safe and efficient location and remove the possibility of the waste getting into the reservoir. • Improve water quality, safety and sanitary facilities at the park for the public. A Determination by the Government not to compete this proposed financial assistance based upon Departmental Manual 505 DM 2, paragraph 2.14(B)(2) is solely within the discretion of the Government.
