Description

Congressionally directed assistance in support of The American Red Cross under the authority of Section 8079 of the Department of Defense Appropriation Act for FY 2013, Public Law 113-6. The Red Cross is a volunteer-led, humanitarian organization that provides emergency assistance, disaster relief, and education inside the United States. Service to the Armed Forces, a branch of the Red Cross, provides support to the US military, veterans, and their families with various types of assistance.
