Description
The purpose of this RFI is to solicit feedback from industry, academia, research laboratories, government agencies, and other stakeholders. Appendix A: Fiber Reinforced Polymer Composite Manufacturing for Clean Energy Applications of this RFI includes information about the use of fiber reinforced polymer composites in key clean energy applications, a high level summary of the results from the first RFI on this topic, and a summary of technical issues as well as research and development (R&D) needs related to low-cost fiber reinforced polymer composite manufacturing. The Advanced Manufacturing Office seeks feedback and comment on the information in Appendix A. This is solely a request for information and not a Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA). EERE is not accepting applications. Responses to this RFI must be submitted electronically to FRCManufacturing@go.doe.gov with a subject line ?Response to RFI? no later than 5:00pm (EDT) on January 7, 2014.
