Addressing Emerging Infectious Diseases in Bangladesh

Description
Conduct field and laboratory research on diseases of public health importance in Bangladesh, with an emphasis on emerging and re-emerging infectious diseases, such as respiratory diseases, zoonotic diseases, vector-borne diseases and neglected tropical diseases, as well as other identified public health priorities; Incorporate the results of this research into disease prevention and control programs, risk communication materials and training or capacity building programs. Emphasis will also be placed on sharing of expertise and research findings with other nations, agencies, and academic or research institutions.
