South Fork Boise River Sediment Study
ArchivedBureau of Reclamation
Description
The University of Idaho (UI) will develop a process-based hydraulic and sediment transport model in order to study mobility of post-fire sediment delivered to the South Fork Boise River. Results from this study will help managers predict the fate and transportation of fine sediment to the South Fork Boise River. These results will also help to determine how operations of Anderson Ranch Dam may affect bull trout critical habitat and the bull trout prey base.
