Description

The purpose of this FOA is to provide the resources needed for awardees to implement a package of services for the target population in a defined geographic area, developed and implemented by a coalition of key stakeholders in HCV infection (i.e., health departments, specialists in HCV care, and primary-care providers), aimed at strengthening health-care capacity to diagnose and cure HCV infection. Increased health-care capacity will in turn increase the number of persons whose HCV infection is diagnosed, treated, and cured, ultimately resulting in reduced HCV-related morbidity and mortality.
