Description

The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) Uganda is seekingapplications to fund one or more organizations through a Cooperative Agreement for a five-yearUSAID/Uganda Systems Strengthening for Health Commodities activity as described in SectionI of this RFA. The authority for the RFA is found in the Foreign Assistance Act of 1961, asamended. USAID intends to provide up to $30 million dollars, subject to the availability of funds,to be allocated over the five-year period. USAID reserves the right to fund any or none of theapplications submitted and expects one award as a result of this solicitation; however, more thanone award may result.This is a full and open competition, under which any type of organization, large or small,commercial (for-profit) firms, faith-based, and non-profit organizations in partnerships orconsortia, are eligible to compete. In accordance with the Federal Grants and CooperativeAgreement Act, USAID encourages competition in order to identify and fund the best possibleapplication(s) to achieve program objectives.
