Purpose of Program: The Title III, Part F, ANNH Program is authorized under Section 371 of the Higher Education Act of 1965, as amended (HEA), to provide grants to eligible institutions of higher education (IHEs) to enable them to improve and expand their capacity to serve Alaska Natives and Native Hawaiians. IHEs may use these grants to plan, develop, or implement activities that promise to strengthen the institution. Catalog of Federal Domestic Assistance (CFDA) Numbers: 84.031R and 84.031V. Applications for grants under the Alaska Native-Serving Institutions Program (CFDA number 84.031R) and the Native Hawaiian-Serving Institutions Program (CFDA number 84.031V) must be submitted electronically using the Government wide http://Grants.gov">Grants.gov Apply site at www.grants.gov. Through this site, you will be able to download a copy of the application package, complete it offline, and then upload and submit your application. You may not email an electronic copy of a grant application to us. You may access the electronic grant application for this competition at www.Grants.gov. You must search for the downloadable application package for this program by the CFDA number. Do not include the CFDA number's alpha suffix in your search (e.g., search for 84.031, not 84.031R).
