Description

PRM will prioritize funding for proposed NGO activities that best meet the Bureau's priorities for refugees, asylum seekers, internally displaced persons (IDPs), and other persons of concern in the South Caucasus and Central Asia. Because of PRM's mandate to provide protection, assistance, and sustainable solutions for refugees and victims of conflict, PRM will consider funding only those projects that include a target beneficiary base of at least 50% refugees/IDPs. For projects in Armenia or Azerbaijan, proposals must address at least one or more of the following sectors: 1.) Legal Assistance; 2.) Community Empowerment; 3.) Gender-based Violence (GBV) Prevention and Response; and/or 4.) Livelihoods. For projects in Georgia, proposals must address at least one or more of the following sectors: 1.) Legal Assistance; 2.) Community Empowerment; 3.) Gender-based Violence Prevention and Response; 4.) Livelihoods; 5.) Confidence Building. For projects in Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, or Uzbekistan, proposals must address the following sector: Protection/legal assistance.
